Weerstand Roermond: From Old Factory Site to Vibrant New Neighborhood

1x

Great news for Roermond! The plans for Weerstand, the new neighborhood on the former Philips site at Bredeweg, have been officially approved. Development can officially kick off early next year.

This is going to be such a lovely place to live, work and hang out. The historic buildings will be preserved as much as possible and given a fresh purpose. And the best part? Cyclists and pedestrians get priority, while cars stay at the edges of the neighborhood.

Here is what to expect:

  • 🏠 400 homes in all shapes and sizes: apartments, lofts, row houses and group housing
  • 🎨 Space for creativity, culture and small businesses
  • 🛹 Already open: a skate hall and various activities

Heads up: you cannot register interest for a home just yet. As soon as that changes, you will hear about it through official channels. Want more info? Check out weerstandroermond.nl or email info@weerstandroermond.nl.
