Tomorrow morning at 9 AM, thirteen building plans across Landgraaf will be reviewed by the Spatial Quality Committee. And some of them are pretty interesting!
Here is what is on the agenda:
- 🏠 A shop converted into 3 homes at Pasweg 24
- 🐴 Manege Galop riding school gets a new roof (Tunnelweg 1)
- 🏛️ A Roman stone placed next to a bench along the Via Belgica in Rimburg
- 🏢 Gering Furniture Transport expanding their building (Marconistraat 15)
- 🏡 New assisted living center by SGL at Melchersstraat 60
- 🚪 New front doors and roofs for multiple addresses on Eynattenstraat
- 📦 Business zoning changed to residential at Blauwsteenstraat/Pastoor Tummerstraat
Plus more plans for barns, extensions, garage boxes, and legalizations spread across the municipality.

The Roman stone near the Via Belgica in Rimburg is not just a decoration. The Via Belgica was one of the most important Roman military roads in the region, connecting Boulogne-sur-Mer to Cologne. This route ran straight through what is now South Limburg and is being gradually made visible with markers and information objects along the ancient route.
