More than just emotional value
We usually say that some stuffed animals are priceless because of the memories and emotional value they hold. But for this bear, that was meant quite literally! During a thorough “cuddle inspection” by the police, it turned out this bear was carrying an astonishing secret under its fur.
Instead of just cotton stuffing, the bear was packed with thick stacks of real €50 bills! After a careful “operation,” the truth came out: no less than €50,000.- was hidden inside the head and back of the toy.
The most creative piggy bank ever?
We know we’re resourceful here in Limburg, but this is a very unusual way to keep your savings safe! Although the police have seized the bear and its contents for further investigation, it remains one of the most remarkable and funny finds in our region recently.
Whether it was a creative piggy bank that lost its way or a very special gift; one thing is for sure: this teddy bear is undoubtedly the most precious plushie we’ve ever welcomed to Beek!
