The Weert city council is hosting a ‘raadscafé’ on Tuesday, June 2nd at local brewery De Weerter Stadsbrouwerij. Think of it as a casual community evening where you sit at a table and simply have a conversation with your elected council members, no speeches, no formal settings.
This is actually the very first raadscafé with the newly elected council after the recent elections, so it is a great moment to get to know the people representing your city! 🍺
What can you do there?
- Discuss a topic that is on the council’s agenda
- Share a local initiative from your neighbourhood
- Bring up an idea or concern you have been thinking about
- Or just walk in and listen, that is totally fine too!

How does the evening work? Council members rotate between tables throughout the night, so you get the chance to meet and talk with several of them, not just one. It is relaxed, friendly, and very much like chatting with a neighbour.
