Hey neighbor! Quick heads-up: three council meetings are coming up at the end of June and start of July, and there are some genuinely interesting things on the table. The best part? You can join in and have your say.
Here is what is happening:
- Monday 29 June, 7:30 PM – Community Dialogue Meeting. Topics include an audit report on how Social Affairs handles income support and participation.
- Tuesday 30 June, 7:30 PM – Living Environment Dialogue Meeting. Includes the zoning plan for Terhorst 8 in Banholt.
- Tuesday 7 July, 7:30 PM – The big council meeting. The new 2026-2030 Coalition Agreement will be discussed here. 👀

The 2026-2030 Coalition Agreement being finalized on 7 July is THE document that decides where your local tax money goes for the next four years: from road maintenance in Banholt to facilities in Eijsden. Whoever speaks up now literally shapes policy until 2030.
