Brightlands High Tech Agro is a collaboration between Maastricht University and Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo. Researchers here are working on next-generation farming technology. Think:

The total project receives a contribution of 4,180,000 euros from the Regio Deal Noord-Limburg II, with 1,045,000 euros coming directly from the Province of Limburg. Phase 2 specifically focuses on integrating robotics and biology in a greenhouse for fully autonomous cultivation, where plants grow without any human intervention.
