Central Limburg is getting a royal visit! The Royal Couple is touring the region with stops in Wessem, Echt-Susteren, Roerdalen, and Roermond. A day packed with special encounters and local gems.

In Illikhoven, the narrowest part of the Netherlands (less than five kilometers wide!), the focus is on cross-border cooperation. In Vlodrop, the Royal Couple visits Vekoma, a world-famous roller coaster manufacturer 🎢. They get a behind-the-scenes look at how these incredible theme park rides are designed and built.
The day wraps up in Roermond with conversations about democracy and participation, plus a visit to De Weerstand, where an old industrial site is being transformed into a vibrant living community.
