In our ‘Shelter Animal Spotlight,’ we feature four shelter animals every week, hoping to help them find a new home with a loving family. We love animals because they give us unconditional love, and this is our way of giving something back to them. Kopje Limburg is here for both people and animals.
Nio
This little guy is a super cute and fluffy bunny! He is very friendly and sweet and would love to live indoors with you. Nio is two years old and has always been very well-behaved, but his previous owner’s dog found him a bit too interesting and wouldn’t leave him alone. That’s why he’s now looking for a quieter home. Do you have a nice bunny friend for Nio? He’d love to go on a date with them starting March 13th!

Cava
Are you looking for a beautiful little friend with sparkling eyes, and do you enjoy a good glass of bubbly? Then Cava is the perfect guinea pig companion for you! She will love your attention but would also like to have a fellow guinea pig friend to play with. Cava was dumped along with a large group of others and had some minor health issues, but she’s now fully recovered, healthy, and looking for a caring family.
Dries
No, he’s not the famous Dutch singer Dries Roelvink, but he is quite the chatterbox! Dries is a male cat about three years young. He’ll approach you cautiously because he likes to “wait and see” first. He loves being outdoors, so a nice garden to play in would make him very happy. Do you have the patience to wait until Dries is ready for a cuddle? You’d make him the happiest cat in the world!

Diamond Dove
They say “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” but this diamond dove is likely a male. He was found as a stray and unfortunately never reclaimed. Luckily, he’s currently staying warm and cozy indoors, so if you’d like to keep him outside, he’ll need some time to adjust to the temperature first. He’d love to flutter around your place if you have a beautiful aviary and perhaps some feathered friends for him.
