Great news for anyone craving cotton candy, thrilling rides and good vibes: the funfair is back on the Vrijthof! From May 8 through 17, the heart of Maastricht transforms into one big party.
The opening is on Friday May 8 at 4 PM at the Breakdance ride. Alderman Johan Pas kicks things off, with live music from the Mestreechs Rezjiment and samba band Batida. And for a proper blessing: Dean Dautzenberg from the Saint Servatius Basilica will be there too 🙏
On opening day, 100 kids invited through Stichting Trajekt get to enjoy several rides for free until 6 PM. A lovely gesture from the funfair operators! 🎠
