Besides the well-known garden visitors, the Old World Swallowtail (a huge, tropical-looking yellow and black butterfly) and the Marbled White (recognizable by its beautiful black-and-white checkered pattern) are true Limburg enthusiasts. What’s inside the seed packets?

- Red Admiral: A powerful flyer with black wings and a striking orange band. You’ll often spot it on butterfly bushes or fallen fruit.
- Brimstone: This bright yellow butterfly is often the first one you’ll see fluttering along forest edges and in gardens in the spring.
- Small Tortoiseshell: Beautifully orange with black spots and a row of blue dots along the edges. It loves sitting on flowers in full sun.
- Small White: The well-known snowy white butterfly with black dots. It flutters happily through almost every backyard and over every balcony.
