In our ‘Shelter Animal Spotlight,’ we feature four shelter animals every week, hoping to help them find a new home with a loving family. We love animals because they give us unconditional love, and this is our way of giving something back to them. Kopje Limburg is here for both people and animals.
Diva
Like a true diva, she is looking for a full-time personal cuddle assistant. Diva is a beautiful, well-mannered shepherd who prefers to have all of your attention to herself. Other dogs are fine at a distance while walking, but at home, this little princess prefers not to share her throne. She carries a little ‘extra baggage’ because she needs pain medication and a special diet for her spondylosis and arthrosis, but she is still more than happy to go out and about with you! Or just cuddle up together on the couch at home, because she is a real cuddle bear. Are you one too? Apply now as her ‘cuddle assistant’!

Babsy
This beautiful, young kitten loves to be petted, provided she is given some time to settle in at home first. Besides that, she doesn’t mind other cats in the house at all; Babsy is used to them. Sadly, she was found in a travel crate, dumped with two friends. Because of this, you will have to earn her trust first, but once you do, she will become your favorite roommate and bring you love and joy every single day. Just be sure to give her some time in the garden every day to stretch her paws, and she will be absolutely happy with you.
Martini
This little, cute, and handsome guinea pig fellow not only has a fun name but a fun personality too. Born in the shelter, he is only a few weeks old, but already brave enough for a lovely home with a sweet family. Be kind to him, and you will get a lifetime of love in return. Because Martini is still young and small, the world can seem a bit big and scary sometimes. But if you give him a little time to adjust, he will happily squeak a ‘good morning’ at you every day to get your loving attention.

Young mice
Several young mice are looking for a nice home: two white ones and a few with colorful coats. They are all little males who are not yet fully grown and would love to become your new best friend.
